Born in Hokitika, New Zealand actress and singer Morgan Jean Bradley is the daughter of dairy farming parents, Robert and Sharon Bradley. Morgan’s childhood was spent helping on the farm milking cows, riding motorbikes and driving tractors. At the age of 15 Morgan was discovered and signed to modeling agency NZ Models & Talent and quickly became a successful model in commercial and print for brands such as Ballantynes, Karen Walker and Merino. Morgan attended Hagley Theatre Company in 2009 which attained her a spot in the sought after Unitec Institute – Bachelor of performing and Screen Arts. At 20 years of age Morgan answered an advert to audition for a children’s show. The New Zealand born and raised beauty won the part along with the hearts of Kiwi kids and quickly became recognized with her show, Kidzone with Morgan. It ran for 5 seasons and made her a household name. She went on to become a Series Regular playing Leisha; an accountant turned misunderstood sex-worker in the popular TVNZ series, Dirty Laundry. In the commercial world Morgan was also successful, filming several commercials for popular national and international brands such as KFC and Furniture Court. In 2016 she became the face of Leefield Station Winery. Her other credits include a stint on the long-running Power Rangers and a lead in the award-winning film Titiro. Not only is Morgan comfortable on screen she also has had many roles on stage. Including; Edward Albees -Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf, Patrick Marbers – Closer, Alice in Wonderland and Alan Janes – The Buddy Holly Story. In 2015 she was nominated ‘Best Actress’ for her stage role as Mimi Marquez in the Tony Award Winning musical RENT. Morgan is also a civic-minded citizen. When not working, she volunteers her time between Navi Collaborative, a very successful arts collective that she co-founded and the children’s charity, Southern Stars Charitable Trust for which she is an Ambassador. In 2017 Morgan relocated to the United States and US audiences are now discovering the talented young actress for her roles in two US miniseries – AMC’s Al Capone-themed, Making of the Mob: Chicago (playing singer Phyllis McGuire) and Amazon’s American Playboy: The Hugh Hefner Story. Morgan’s first Hollywood feature film playing reporter Runa Wolff in The Aerialist is set to be released mid 2019.
