Laëtitia EÏDO is a French actress. She is one the leads of the NETFLIX world hit tv-show ‘FAUDA’. She plays in languages such as french, english, spanish, italian, arabic, hebrew or greek. She is the female lead of ‘Holy Air’ feature film by Shady Srour, which opened in New-York in TriBeCa Film Festival’s Official Competition (‘FIPRESCI Film Critics award’ in Jerusalem).
Her recent work includes the feature ‘A borrowed identity’ by Eran Riklis (‘Lemon tree’) and a lead in ‘Yes I do’ tv-series by E.Blayau for Studio+, the new CANAL+ digital label.
Laëtitia was awarded BEST ACTRESS for her lead part in ‘Fadhma n’Soumer’ historical feature by B.Hadjadj in Montreal and Agadir.
First trained in classical acting techniques in Paris, she attended workshops with theatre companies such as Peter BROOK’s or Jacques LECOQ’s. She then studied in depth S.MEISNER acting technique, in Paris and New-York.
Her career on screen notably started in France with the role of Cleopatra in the docu-drama ‘The destiny of Rome’; she was then an Indian super-hero in the successful Tv-Series ‘Hero Corp’ by S.Astier; and the lead in ‘Limply, a Saturday morning’, short film by S.Djama (BEST FIRST FICTION, Clermont-Ferrand). Her ambiguous ethnicity opened horizons for her in England and in the US with the action tv-series ‘Strike Back’ (Cinemax/HBO) and the movies ‘The land of nothing’ by A.Kouider (with the ‘Maharishi University Master in Films’ run by David LYNCH) and the short ‘Aleppo’ by A.Grippa.
Laëtitia made her debuts on stage, with various significant parts including ‘Andromaque’, in Racine’s Greek tragedy; or Eglé in Marivaux’s French classic ‘The Dispute’. She has been back on stage in 2017 with the theatrical adaptation of ‘The 4th wall’, a novel by Sorj Chalandon (GONCOURT Lycéens 2013) directed by A.Stéphan, at the Brittany National Theatre (TNB – Rennes).
She was a ‘Talent’ Alumna at Berlin Film Festival (2015) and a Jury Member in festivals like Jerusalem, Oran or Cannes for the ‘Queer Palm’ award.
She is represented in PARIS by ‘Time Art’, in LONDON by ‘KP Management’ and in the U.S.A. by ‘Buchwald’ agency.
