From the fierce “Bron – Char” in “Captain Marvel” to the ultimate Viking warlord “UBBA” in “The Last Kingdom” Rune Temte has made a strong impression by playing rogues, villains and all-around bad asses, often with a twinkle in the Eye. He is the first Norwegian to have been cast in the MCU. A natural at portraying complex charismatic heavies, the classically trained actor was born in Solbergelva , Norway. Rune played professional football before choosing to pursue his first love of acting. Rune is known for his work in the successful drama series “The Last Kingdom” (2015), were he plays “Ubba” a strong performance that earned him recognition worldwide. Rune can also be seen in the international blockbuster “Eddie the Eagle” (2016) and in Sky Atlantic’s popular TV -series “Fortitude” (2015 – 2018) were he plays “Lars Ulvenaune” .
His film and TV work includes working with directors like: Anna Boden, Ryan Fleck, Dexter Fletcher, Nick Murphy , Hettie Macdonald , Kieron Hawkes , Metin Hüseyin , Anthony Byrne , Ben Chanan and Sarah Pia Anderson.
